Multi-talented Aussie warrior woman Jo Modeen ("JD") is tasked with thwarting an assassination and subsequently with pursuing a vicious gang.Interesting locations, without lots of descriptions. Admirable heroine and her special forces mates. Fast-paced story. I ended up liking JD, while not quite believing she could do what she did; was eager for her to succeed but was not truly engrossed. Listened to it on my Kindle text-to-speech.
Well-written stories moved rapidly. Understanding and enjoyment did not rely on having read other books in the series.
I plan to read another not too long from now.

Only one word for it A W E S O M E !!!!!!!! I was hooked from the start and literally could not put it down and did not put it down until it was finished. Action packed throughout and of course keeps you dangling and wanting more. Wish he wrote as fast as I read ) ) )
Frank h Jordan has got better with each novel. Leaves the reader wanting more.
Great pace again, Mr Jordan puts us into the action again with Modeen and her group going hard and fast against organised crime with a little under the radar revenge to put things right.
The Jo Modeen 4 -6 Has a preview of the books, which I appreciate knowing what they're about before I read them. Well written, fast paced and action packed storylines with intelligent, realistic characters and events. I actually believe the author knew what he was writing about unlike some "writers" today who are clueless about weapons, training and combat fighting and action, but are liked by readers who know even less. I enjoyed the Aussie dialect and colloquialisms. It's easy to chain read the Modeen series without becoming bored or tired. Job well done, Jordan. 5*
Modeen Convergence #4 - Picks up where book #3 ended. Well written; fast paced; action packed with a well thought out plot that leaves the reader immersed in the pages until the end. The well developed characters and their dialog, and the vivid descriptions leave the reader with clear pictures. No graphic violence; no vulgar language, just a story that keeps the reader on edge. My fourth book in a row and I'm not bored or tired of reading the Modeen series. 5*
Modeen Rogue #5 - Picks up where book #4 ended. Well written, fastest paced of the books yet, while full of intrigue and action. The well thought out plot keeps the reader immersed without graphic violence or vulgar language. The vivid descriptions are easy to follow and Australia appears heavily as a character herself in the series. Interesting series. 5*
Modeen Redemption #6 - Picks up where book #5 ended. Just like the previous five books it's well written, fast paced, action packed with a plot that takes the reader through a lot of happenings, good and bad. While full of action, the violence isn't graphic and there's no vulgar language. The books of this writer can sit on the same shelf as Ludlum, De Mille, Follett and the rest of the bunch. 5*
Great book can see the Author's style evolving with each novel.
I have read books 1-5 in this series LOVED THEM ALL!! Keep them coming, I just got book 6 and can't wait to start reading it!
